The membership in MetaCentrum is allowed without any restrictions only to
persons from academic environment of the Czech republic with research objectives. In a case
of interest from commercial company (i.e. its research part), it is necessary to consult your interest and
its possible fulfillment. As the MetaCentrum user you are allowed to
use currently available computational resources for
your research aims and projects.
As the MetaCentrum employee your
membership brings you access to resources, information and
materials necessary for your work.
Persons interested in usage of MetaCentrum resources can submit the registration form by clicking at link Registration form in the menu. After filling in all information a PDF file will be displayed. This file has to be printed out, you have to sign it and send it to the contact person . By signing this document, you agree that you will not calculate nuclear weapons and guided missiles using MetaCentrum resources and that as a MetaCentrum user you agree with sending you advertising materials about actions organized by MetaCentrum. You have to accept these rules and then you will be granted by access to MetaCentrum resources.
User access to MetaCentrum resources is enabled by using your user login name and corresponding password. You will choose this password during filling the registration form and after that this password will serve you as the only central password enabling unified access (using Kerberos system technology) to all MetaCentrum computational capacities (you have the access granted for). Due to the fact that this password enables you to access all computational resources you are authorized to use, please, take the password security properly and seriously (do not choose trivial password, do not write it down anywhere, do not tell it to anybody) and do not forget it firstly!
The current state of registration can be checked by clicking to pointer Registration state checking, the access requires an user login name and password chosen during the registration process. At the same place you can view the PDF file for printing in the case your first printing was not successful or you lost printed paper.
